This role
The Senior Manager Product is responsible for defining and executing PayJoy’s MarTech strategy, building scalable technology infrastructure that drives customer acquisition, activation, and retention; managing integrations, customer communications, and data; leading the full lifecycle of MarTech initiatives; ensuring alignment across marketing, product, engineering, and operations; optimizing performance-marketing infrastructure; and communicating progress, risks, and impact to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a best in class marketing-technology stack that fuels PayJoy’s global growth.
  • Define and execute the strategy for MarTech at PayJoy — overseeing integrations with 3rd party vendors, building scalable infrastructure for customer acquisition, activation and retention.
  • Build and implement tools to centralize customer communications across all of PayJoy and optimize methods for collecting and keeping customer contact information current.
  • Partner closely with the Director of Performance Marketing and the broader marketing team to define roadmap priorities, translate business goals into tech initiatives, and ensure alignment across growth, product, engineering and operations.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of MarTech initiatives: roadmap planning, backlog definition, requirements writing, managing engineering delivery, QA/testing, launch and monitoring.
  • Own delivery and management of performance-marketing infrastructure: attribution modelling, tracking and analytics, campaign infrastructure for paid and organic channels, lifecycle workflows, personalization engines.
  • Communicate status, risks and outcomes to senior leadership: deliver stakeholder updates, drive governance, highlight business impact of MarTech initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • + 5 years of experience in product management, program management or marketing - tech leadership roles — especially in B2C, growth-oriented companies.
  • Deep expertise in MarTech: experience with customer attribution/analytics, marketing automation/communication platforms (email, SMS, push), CDP/CRM integrations, paid-media stack (search/social/display/programmatic), lifecycle campaigns and retention systems.
  • Fintech experience is highly desirable — comfortable navigating regulatory, data-privacy and risk considerations in marketing flows and tech infrastructure.
  • Proven experience leading engineering or technical product delivery teams (or managing the delivery of tech features), with strong cross-functional leadership skills across engineering, marketing, product, data and operations.
  • Excellent command of English (written and verbal) — ability to operate at a senior level and engage with global teams.
  • Analytical mindset and data-driven approach: experience designing and running A/B tests, building dashboards, deriving insights and optimizing performance.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth, dynamic environment with ambiguity, multiple markets and shifting priorities.
