This role
The Accounting Analyst is responsible for improving and automating our accounting processes with a primary focus on Accounts Payable and/or Receivable.
Responsibilities
- Daily bank account reconciliations.
- Daily report of payments and collection from merchants.
- Maintain the merchant AP and AR ledgers in NetSuite.
- Balance Sheet Account reconciliation, by verifying entries and comparing system reports to daily balances.
- Book complex or non-standard transactions in NetSuite.
- Registering and payment of general supplier invoices and expense reimbursements, as well as taxes.
- Assist Accounting Team to implement new NetSuite automations and best-practices in the merchant AP/AR process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or in a role managing a high volume of AP transactions and account reconciliations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (v-lookup, pivot tables, etc.), Google suite, NetSuite or any other ERP, and SQL.
- Superb attention to detail and time management skills.
