This role
In this role, you will work closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. If you have a strong background in accounting and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a General Accountant.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial software (ERP).
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Own the overheads and balance sheet reconciliations process.
- Help drive best practice across the whole accounting function, working with the finance team and consolidation team to implement and drive controls and process improvements.
- Produce detailed spend analysis to provide insightful information to leaders within the business.
- Enhance existing month end reporting process and implement improvement where possible.
Qualifications
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends and provide explanations.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced English.
Desirable qualifications
- Knowledge of Oracle/Hyperion/NetSuite/ PBCS.
- Knowledge of Advanced Excel & Macros.
