This role

Responsibilities

  • As a Business Specialist | Merchant Ops, you will collaborate closely with merchants nationwide. At PayJoy, your role involves strategic interactions, analytics-driven transactions, and project management essential for fostering successful partnerships and driving business growth. You will act as the primary liaison between our company and valued business partners, playing a pivotal role in cultivating robust relationships.
  • Conduct reconciliations for partner payments, manage promotions, and ensure timely payment to partners.
  • Ensure prompt payment of commissions, promotions, incentives, etc.
  • Assist in the business planning process including discovery, ideation, initiative sizing, business plan creation, governance setup, and execution initiation.
  • Collaborate with other PayJoy teams to ensure successful regional project execution.
  • Simplify and synthesize complex structures to effectively communicate value.
  • Travel as needed to support the growth of PayJoy accounts.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with our global offices.
  • Support merchants in all aspects of their administrative operations.
  • Lead improvement projects that require interaction with diverse areas such as product development, sales, etc.
  • Overseeing 1 or 2 representatives.

Qualifications

  • More than 3 year of experience in support and/or account management in sectors such as telecommunications, retail, and/or finance.
  • Experience in managing KPIs.
  • Strong skills in analysis and communication (both verbal and written).
  • Advance proficiency in English for verbal and written communication.
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Suite or Office, especially Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in handling large volumes of databases.
  • Desirable (Optional)
  • Agile methodology.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, Jira, and CRM.
