This role
Responsibilities
- As a Collections Analyst, you will act as the main internal Collections strategic/analytic resource, having country managers and finance teams as main stakeholders.Analyze and interpret data sets of collections process, portfolio segmentation;
- Make business recommendations based on data analysis;
- Integrate different data sources to get to overall conclusions;
- Drive operational efficiencies based on data;
- Automate/simplify collections processes minimizing invested time and human errors;
- Prepare and deliver program status updates and presentations to internal stakeholders and the executive leadership team when needed;
- Apply a technical mindset to identify operational drivers;
- Apply best collections practices
- Specialist in portfolio segmentation and statistical analysis for collections
- Trained to create reports in Mode, monitoring results and integrating databases that include the comparison of results between countries, agencies and experiments
- Business vision to propose new strategies and experiments based on your experience and initiative
- Measure the impact of unit economics with the help of existing data
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Actuary, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Statistics.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience working in Collections department or Data department dedicated to Collections in a medium financial institution
- Exposure to collections tools
- Great top-down communication skills
- Advanced English (written and spoken)
- Advanced knowledge in using tools to manage big sources of data and visualization, such as: SQL, Snowflake, PowerBI.
- Knowledge of CRM tools for Collections.
- Experience in high growth fintech startups
- Experience in the BI department of a major collections agency
- Experience in Agile settings
- Specialist in one or more Collections tools
- Exposure to voice CRM tools
