This Role
The Compliance Analyst will play a key role within the global Compliance function, contributing to the implementation of the corporate compliance program in collaboration with Fraud, Risk, Collections, and Operations teams. This position will focus on supporting the implementation and execution of compliance controls related to Mexico's regulatory obligations and PayJoy programs. Additionally, the role will involve providing support to the Compliance Team in managing relationships with Financial Regulators, such as CNBV and CONDUSEF.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate proactive partnership with other teams, a keen understanding of their needs, and the ability to execute appropriate compliance controls. They will be proficient in effectively communicating and escalating matters in a timely manner, ensuring operational excellence in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and work ethics.

Responsibilities

  • Policies and Manuals Administration: Manage and update the Mexico Anti-Money Laundering (AML) manual, ensuring it reflects current regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Risk Matrix Administration: Operate and maintain the AML risk matrix, identifying and assessing risks associated with money laundering activities, and implementing controls to mitigate risks among PayJoy’s products..
  • Compliance Controls Execution: Implement and execute compliance controls to ensure adherence to Mexico's regulatory obligations and Company programs.
  • Regulatory Relationship Management: Assist the Compliance Team in managing relationships with Financial Regulators, such as CNBV or CONDUSEF, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timely response to inquiries
  • Audit Management: conduct the annual AML Audit for the entity and perform the annual remediation plan to mitigate any breaches found.
  • Training: provide annual AML Training to all applicable personnel for the entity

Qualifications

  • Two to three years of experience in compliance, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree related to the Compliance field: Law, Industrial Engineering or Administration.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong ethical record and behavior
  • Analytical skills with the ability to assess and mitigate compliance by transforming them into key objective metrics
  • Advanced English
