This Role
The Senior Product Manager will be pivotal in enhancing our customer repayment systems, particularly for our Phone Finance and Credit-line businesses. The role involves deep customer research, identifying and addressing friction points in repayments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective strategies that improve customer repayment experiences and outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Customer Research: Conduct in-depth research to understand the barriers to timely customer repayments.
- Product Roadmap Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive product roadmap aimed at increasing customer repayments across all PayJoy's business lines.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Risk, Fraud, Engineering, and Analytics teams to implement roadmap items effectively.
- Payment Management: Oversee the management of payment interfaces, backend processes, payment provider relationships, and continuous evaluation to optimize for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Innovative feature development: Develop strategies for customer engagement, including repayment reminders, educational content about credit scores, gamified elements in credit offerings, such as lower interest rates and higher limits for timely repayments and more.
Requirements
- Proven experience in product management, preferably in fintech or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of customer behavior and experience in user research.
- Innovative thinker with the ability to identify and solve complex problems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
