About the Role:

Join Our Team as the Manager of Audit Support!

We are excited to announce an incredible opportunity for a passionate and driven individual to lead a dynamic team focused on supporting the execution of external audits, due diligence requests, security questionnaires, and various ad-hoc requests from our valued external business partners!

In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of coordinating resources, compiling essential documentation from internal stakeholders, and ensuring seamless communication both internally and externally. Your ability to provide timely and accurate responses will be key to our success!

What You’ll Do:

  • Leading a team of Audit Support Analysts and Sr. Analysts in gathering and responding to auditor inquiries, documentary requests, and findings within required deadlines.
  • Developing a clear understanding of Upgrade’s control environment across products and services, and articulating controls to third parties including auditors, investors, financial institutions, vendors, regulators, and bank partners.
  • Cultivating relationships with third parties, bank partners, and internal teams such as Operations, Compliance, Legal, Product, Investor, People Ops, and Technology.
  • Documenting and maintaining processes to ensure efficiency and consistency.
  • Managing ad hoc initiatives and projects to support the execution of scalable and consistent audits.
  • Maintaining a repository of responses and documentation within the audit system of record.

What We Look For:

  • 2+ years of risk management, compliance or audit experience.
  • 5+ years of strong people leadership skills.
  • Prior experience in fintech is a plus.
  • Solid project management, critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex and sensitive issues to internal and external audiences in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Able to take direction and ownership of very detailed processes.
  • High level of proficiency with standard computer applications.
