About the Role:
We are looking for a Analyst of Compliance and Regulatory Affairs to join our Compliance department. In this role, you will partner closely with internal stakeholders with preparing regulatory examinations and help track changes to regulations to ensure ongoing compliance. We are looking for someone with a can do attitude, a keen attention to detail and an ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. This role will be based in our San Francisco office in a hybrid capacity on Tuesdays and Thursdays.


What You’ll Do:

  • Assist Senior Manager of Compliance and Gov Affairs with documenting, tracking, and reporting of regulatory examinations
  • Support preparation of all regulatory exam requests and inquiries, review document and data requests, coordinate with and gather data from a variety of team members, manage any necessary follow-ups, harmonize data and responses and ensure that all responses are submitted with care
  • Maintain centralized document management system for regulatory response materials and standardized responses, identify areas to improve process and efficiency
  • Help track changes to applicable laws and regulations and guidance from state and federal agencies to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Provide support with a variety of activities related to regulatory affairs including: legislative tracking, monitor regulatory changes across applicable issuing bodies, etc.


What We Look For:

  • 2+ years of experience at a financial services or technology firm
  • 2+ years of experience in risk/compliance/legal
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong project management, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and prioritize critical issues
  • Sense of ownership and responsibility towards problem solving

The compensation range of this position in San Francisco, CA is USD $70,000 - $90,000 annually plus equity and benefits. Within this range, an individual's base pay will be dependent on a variety of factors, including without limitation, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
