About the Role:

Upgrade is bringing to market a Home Improvement platform and product with a combined B2B and B2C approach. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Product Marketer to join our talented Marketing team as we grow this new line of business. You will play a critical role in driving the success of our Home Improvement product, working closely with our Home Improvement sales organization, Product Management team, and other Upgrade Marketing team members. You’ll have the opportunity to make an immediate impact managing the product release calendar, go-to-market strategy, training, and driving usage of product features for Upgrade’s Home Improvement platform.

You’ll translate business strategy into tactical plans and be able to execute them yourself. You’ll partner closely with other stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Sales, Design, Legal, Compliance, Operations and other cross functional teams. You are willing to jump in and tackle a wide range of marketing needs like creating copy, collateral, and other communications material.

This role will be based in our San Francisco OR Atlanta office in a hybrid capacity (2x per week).

What You’ll Do:

  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies and ensure organizational coordination for feature launches of our Home Improvement loans
  • Develop compelling positioning and messaging for new features and experiences, and build the go-to-market strategy to drive adoption and engagement.
  • Own the transactional and lifecycle communication strategy for B2B and B2C customers, including onboarding materials and trigger-based notifications and journeys.
  • Generate high quality content for B2C and B2B customers including sales materials, customer-facing content, lifecycle marketing campaigns, and more.
  • Continuously track the performance of the platform and collaborate with Product and Sales team members to optimize and identify successes.
  • Aggregate and analyze customer feedback and conduct research to identify trends and product gaps, and develop actionable solutions like collateral and training to enable Sales to handle competitor objections.
  • Assist in developing a deeper understanding of contractor processes, including mapping the lifecycle of a contractor job and creating visualizations and collateral to align teams.

What We Look For:

  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B and B2C inproduct marketing or adjacent experience
  • Proven experience managing product launches, determining product-market fit, and working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
  • A bias toward action, excellent communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex ideas.
  • Strong skils in developing messaging hierarchy, effective content strategy, and exceptional copywriting abilities.
  • Comfortable building new processes and tools from scratch based on business needs
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Proficiency in using marketing analytics tools such as Heap, Salesforce, and Tableau to identify data-driven action points.

The compensation range of this position in San Francisco, CA is USD $140,000-$150,000 annually plus equity and benefits. Within this range, an individual's base pay will be dependent on a variety of factors, including without limitation, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
