Role at a glance:

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager who thrives on technical creativity, enjoys tackling complex challenges, and is eager to grow, learn, and mentor other product leads. This role will push your strategic, technical, and leadership skills—it’s a job that will challenge you and reward those who love solving hard problems with creativity and collaboration.

You will own the core workflows of our Accounts Receivable automation business, a central part of how our customers invoice, collect, reconcile, and manage cashflow. You’ll ensure our core AR products deliver best-in-class customer outcomes, feature parity, and consistency across ERP ecosystems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and API-first deployments), while driving innovation in areas like Autopay, intelligent collections, and AI-directed workflows for cashflow optimization.

The right candidate thrives at the intersection of financial workflows, product architecture, and customer empathy. You love digging into ERP systems and real customer usage patterns, translating insights into actionable product strategy and execution. You’ll work closely with engineering, customer success, and go-to-market teams to define and deliver the next generation of AR automation experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the core AR workflow roadmap (for Paystand’s flagship product), including invoicing, billing, reminders/dunning, reconciliation, payment application, and related reporting experiences.
  • Work with product owners for the ERP ecosystems to drive ERP parity for core features across NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and API-first implementations; consolidate and simplify where possible.
  • Lead ideation and development of next-generation Autopay experiences and payment-optimization features that shift customers toward cost-effective, predictable payment flows.
  • Partner with engineering to define product scope, align on architecture decisions, and ensure delivery meets customer workflow and reliability expectations.
  • Execute discovery with customers and internal stakeholders to understand operational pain points and design scalable product-led improvements.
  • Partner with support, implementations, and sales engineering to reduce escalations, improve deployment outcomes, and create repeatable best practices.
  • Define success metrics and track improvements in areas like workflow adoption, payment success, automation rates, time to cash, and customer cost-to-collect.
  • Work collaboratively and transparently—communicating priorities, decisions, tradeoffs, and roadmap progress to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications​ ​&​ ​Requirements:

  • 5+ years Product Management experience building workflow-heavy SaaS products (or equivalent experience).
  • Technical background strongly preferred: CS degree, prior software engineering, or TPM experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working with ERPs, financial workflows, or AR/AP systems is a strong plus.
  • Ability to break down complex financial and operational workflows into clear product requirements and customer journeys.
  • Comfortable working in highly cross-functional environments with engineering, support, GTM, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Excellent communicator who can drive alignment, influence decision-making, and present clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and high ambiguity—comfortable iterating and learning quickly.
  • Experience with cloud-native SaaS architectures, APIs, and platform capabilities is a plus.
