- Department: ICEYE Greece
- Location: Athens, Greece
- Reports to: Head of ICEYE Greece
- Employment type: Permanent
- Working type: Hybrid (2 day Remote Policy)
The Mission of the Senior Sales Engineer
In this role you will enable ICEYE to win mission & data opportunities by defining and leading tailored technical solutions, with a focus on complex public tenders.
ICEYE is seeking a technically driven and customer-focused Senior Sales Engineer to join our Athens office to support our Mission & Data Business.
In this role, you will directly support strategic sales engagements, provide technical leadership in proposals and customer interactions, and enhance our ability to scale through engineering excellence.
You’ll work at the intersection of customer needs and ICEYE’s capabilities, helping to craft compelling technical narratives that enable ICEYE to win data & mission contracts in the area of coverage of ICEYE Greece.
You will play a pivotal role in crafting high-quality responses to institutional and government tenders across Europe, working closely with ICEYE’s Sales, Product, and Engineering teams. Your background in European public procurement programs gives you the insight needed to align ICEYE’s cutting-edge technology with evolving mission requirements.
This role is especially focused on Greek government space programs and pertinent opportunities in adjacent countries as well as ESA, EU and NATO programs, where public procurement processes and programmatic collaboration are key to long-term success. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, crafting compelling solutions and proposals throughout the tender lifecycle.
You contribute to the entire lifecycle of the sales process, from engaging with prospect customers during the BD & pitching phase, organising targeted training sessions for customer and relevant stakeholders and driving an effective bidding process with a 360 remit.
Who we are
ICEYE delivers space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to governments and allied nations. These capabilities enable partners to detect and respond to critical changes anywhere on Earth with unprecedented speed and accuracy – day or night and in any weather, supported by ultra high-resolution imagery and high-frequency revisits.
As a trusted partner for defense, intelligence, security, and maritime domain awareness, ICEYE’s near real-time data creates a tactical advantage for mission-critical operations. Designed for dual use, the platform also serves civil protection and commercial users for natural-catastrophe intelligence, insurance, maritime monitoring (including oil-spill detection), and finance, contributing to global security and community resilience.
