What will you do in this role?

As the Head of People Operations, you'll be at the forefront of shaping our people strategy and driving a culture of excellence across the organization. You'll play a key role in crafting an outstanding employee experience, while optimizing HR processes to ensure we’re operating at our best—both locally in Finland and globally. With a deep understanding of global HR trends and practices, you’ll lead a talented team of 3+ specialists to elevate our local HR operations, while championing initiatives that impact our broader organizational goals. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on how we engage, support, and develop our people worldwide.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive People Operations strategy, aligned with global HR objectives.
  • Compliance & Policies:
    • Ensure full compliance with labor laws and regulations in Finland and potentially in other entities.
    • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring they reflect local legal and cultural nuances.
  • Employee Engagement & Retention:
    • Drive initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
    • Implement employee engagement programs and surveys, leveraging feedback to drive improvements.
  • Compensation & Benefits:
    • Oversee competitive compensation and benefits programs aligned with market standards.
    • Monitor and adapt to trends in the Finnish labor market to ensure attractiveness as an employer.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Streamline HR processes, leveraging technology and best practices.
    • Drive automation and leverage AI to optimize operational HR work, enhancing efficiency and strategic value.
    • Manage workforce planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of 3+ HR specialists to deliver exceptional HR services in Finland.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the HR team.
  • Stakeholder Value:
    • Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, delivering strategic HR solutions that align with business objectives.
    • Bring innovative ideas to drive value and ensure HR practices directly support business success.
