Our creative team is looking for a Digital Asset Manager / Librarian who will be an exceptional addition to our team. As a Digital Asset Manager at Creadits, you will be responsible for efficiently managing, organizing, and optimizing the digital assets critical to our creative processes. You will work closely with our creative teams, clients, and vendors to ensure that digital assets are readily accessible, well-structured, and safeguarded. This role requires a combination of technical proficiency, strong organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.
You will achieve success in this role by having initiative, adaptability, resilience, and intensity around DAM systems and enjoyment in scaling our Digital Asset Management processes.
Your Responsibilities:
-Digital Asset Management: Organize and maintain a comprehensive digital asset library, including images, videos, design files, and other creative assets. Ensure assets are accurately tagged, categorized, and easily searchable.
-Asset Optimization: Collaborate with the creative teams to optimize assets for various channels and platforms, ensuring the highest quality and resolution while adhering to file size and format requirements.
-Metadata and Tagging: Implement a systematic metadata tagging system to streamline asset retrieval and ensure consistency in naming conventions.
-Asset Security: Implement security protocols to protect sensitive and proprietary assets, and manage access controls for internal and external stakeholders.
-Asset Distribution: Facilitate asset distribution to clients, vendors, and team members, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
-Version Control: Manage and maintain version control for assets, keeping track of changes and updates to prevent any discrepancies.
-Asset Monitoring: Continuously monitor the health and integrity of the asset management system, performing regular audits and making recommendations for improvements.
-Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff on asset management best practices and tools, fostering a culture of efficient asset use within the agency.
-Reporting: Generate reports on asset usage, trends, and system performance to inform decision-making.
-Internal Digital Asset Management Platform: Collaborate with the IT and development teams to scale and enhance our agency's internal digital asset management platform.
-Identify opportunities for improvements, coordinate system upgrades, and support the integration of new features and technologies.
About You:
-Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as digital media, library science, or information management.
-Proven experience in digital asset management, preferably within a creative agency or similar environment.
-Proficiency with digital asset management software and tools (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Widen Collective, Bynder, etc.).
-Strong organizational and project management skills.
-Knowledge of file formats, image resolution, and best practices for digital asset optimization.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy.
-Knowledge of copyright and intellectual property rights in a creative context.
-Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a fast-paced, creative environment.
