We are looking to hire talented and experienced video editors focusing on 3D video ads to enhance, edit and create high quality and impactful 3D video ads. A 3D video editor's responsibility includes manipulating film and video footage to create a coherent and complete project that accurately depicts the film directors envision. They use complex editing software to piece together stills, footage, sound effects, dialog, and animation effects.
To ensure success as a video editor, you should have expert knowledge of modern video editing techniques, be able to visualize directorial concepts and work according to a strict time schedule. Ultimately, a top-notch video editor can perfectly translate a director's idea into a beautifully crafted film or video piece, worthy of broadcasting.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize your expertise in 3D motion design to create captivating and visually impressive titles and end cards for gaming trailers.
  • Employ your proficiency as a 3D compositor to seamlessly integrate VFX elements into raw footage from the 3D software, ensuring a flawless and polished final look.
  • Compile, connect, and edit shots from the render engine, transforming them into stunning visuals that captivate the audience.
  • Utilize your knowledge of color correction and grading for 3D to enhance the overall visual quality and consistency of the footage.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to understand the project's rhythm and vibe.
  • Maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality output and delivering work within designated timelines.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with team members, taking direction and feedback to refine and enhance the visual elements of the trailers.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in 3D motion design, with the ability to create captivating titles and end cards that elevate the overall visual appeal of gaming trailers.
  • Extensive experience as a 3D generalist, showcasing a broad skill set in areas such as modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering.
  • Proficiency in utilising VFX techniques and seamlessly integrating VFX elements into raw footage to achieve a polished and cohesive final look.
  • Previous experience in video editing, allowing you to understand the rhythm and vibe of a project and edit footage accordingly for maximum impact.
  • Knowledge and experience with Unreal Engine is a huge plus, enabling you to leverage its capabilities for creating immersive and visually stunning gaming trailers.
  • Proficient in industry-standard 3D software and editing tools, such as Maya, Cinema 4D, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Unreal Engine.
  • Strong knowledge of color correction and grading for 3D, ensuring the footage achieves the desired visual style and tone.
  • Strong artistic and creative abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering visually stunning work.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
