This Role
As a QA Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks, tools, and scripts for our financial services software applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other QA engineers, to drive the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your expertise in test automation will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our products, as well as identifying and resolving issues throughout the software development life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress.
- Conduct thorough credit card testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify test requirements, create test cases, and execute test plans.
- Contribute to development and maintenance of existing test framework and tools.
- Identify and report software defects, troubleshoot issues and work closely with the development team to resolve them.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure overall quality and stability of our software products .
- Stay up to date with the latest industry tools and best practices in automation testing.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in test automation framework and tools, such as Cypress Automation for web and API testing, or similar technologies.
- Solid understanding of credit card testing along with compliances required for Mexico region.
- Strong knowledge of Git and Javascript.
- Experience with CircleCi or similar continuous integration tools, Xray, PHP is highly desirable.
- Ability to write clear, concise and comprehensive test cases and documentation.
- Excellent Problem solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Proven experience as a QA Test Automation Engineer or a similar role, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field is preferred.
